Photography 101: Photographers Must Know These Items

January 18th, 2012

Park City Newborn Photographer | Kerry Sundahl PhotographyPhotographers learn different tips and strategies through attending different kinds of seminars or workshops. Being a Salt Lake City, Utah Photographer myself I have learned many photography tips. If you are dreaming of becoming one of the greaat photographers, read on to know the following basic items that photographers must be aware of.

1) Photographers must hold the camera at their subject’s eye level. This is to encourage your subject to smile and unleash magnetize eye gazes. Remember, any direct eye contact is more engaging as if you are staring a real life person. Photographers who are taking children’s pictures must go down at their level. However, your subjects not necessarily must look at your camera. The eye level angle is just creating a more inviting and personal feeling to give your pictures.

2) Photographers must take a look at the background of the subject. It is advisable to have a plain background. For instance, your friend’s surrounding must not have poles growing behind the head or no cars dangling in the ears. Improve the background of your subject.

Of course there are many more photography tips, but maybe you can add these two to your bag of photography tricks.

Why Should You Opt for the Services of a Photobooth Rental Company That Provides Free Accessories?

October 23rd, 2011

It’s not so difficult to find a photo booth rental provider that includes various types of props in its packages. I’m sure that you’re wondering what’s so special about these companies. Well, it’s important for you to keep in mind that if you really want to organize an unforgettable party, you will have to make use of various accessories. Here I’m not talking about the fact that you will have to decorate the location of your party. Here I’m talking about those accessories which can be used by your guests.

Just think that a Photobooth Rental company that provides free props will help you plan an unforgettable party. Also, think that you guests will have a lot of fun while taking various pictures in the photo booth. Hiring a professional photographer will bring you the same advantages. That’s because a professional photographer will never be able to take pictures of all your guests.

To Which Side Will It Be?

October 13th, 2011

Commonly, people wear their name badges on the right side of the chest for the main reason of letting the person read it when they are shaking hands with each other. This is often seen in people working at the office. For those people working in a place where the keep right sign is always followed like in a hotel for example where there are hallways, they place it in their left side of the chest in order for the people they might meet in the hall to read their names. Others also believe that most left handed people would put their name tags on their right side of the body and vice versa. But there is no definite rule as to where the tags would be placed as long as it’s clearly seen and visible by the costumer though some companies might have a rule where to put it.

Super Impressed by the Photography Course Nottingham is Offering

September 26th, 2011

I was super impressed by the photography course Nottingham is offering right now. It is advertised as being just basic workshop, but it is much more advanced than that. Within an hour I learned more about my own camera than I ever knew it could do. I was surprised. It has settings on it that I honestly would have never found on my own so I was glad I signed up for the course in that respect.

When I went home I definately told my sister all about it and told her she should go. I even signed up for the next one they are having because they are going to be showcasing landscape photography and I will be able to actually have some pictures for my portfolio I am building. I had such a great time in the first one I can only imagine what they will teach in the second one!

How Konkana Sen Images Stand out from Other Actresses

September 17th, 2011

You might have noticed why Konkana Sen images are seen in a different light than other actresses in Bollywood. It is not because she was never nominated for Miss India but it is in fact her diverse experience. She is more multi-talented than many other actresses that we know. For these reasons, she has fans from all ages and communities. She appears for documentaries and even as a TV Anchor for different programs. This fortunate skill makes Konkana Sen images the best of its kind. Her brilliant performances will add a lot more to her plethora of images and other updates from fan websites and clubs. Search around forums for more updates and you will get to know a lot more about her early life and career. It is great to have actors and actresses who are also educated, and these qualities truly set them apart from the mainstream actors.

When is a Drawing Finished?

August 9th, 2011

There are artists that knock off their pieces in a few minutes flat, but the vast majority do not. It takes them a long time to decide when a painting or drawing is finished. Some take months of careful planning and practice before they begin the final composition with the final materials. This is due in part because art supplies are not cheap, and if you know any professional or semi-professional or even hobby artists, they are constantly comparing the cost of things to paint. Any extra money that comes along goes toward a new canvas, or a new brush, or more paint. Even people who “just” draw are always hungering for more pads of better quality paper, and an extra supply of top-quality pencils.

This tends to create a real struggle to know when a piece is done. The typical, short answer is when you can no longer add to it. At first that seems to mean you can’t add any more detail, but what it really means is that adding even one more line would start to take away from the piece, not add to it.

My Personal Canon 55-250 Review

June 21st, 2011

I will write a bit about this Canon 55-250 lens here. This will be a mini review of this lens and later on, I plan to post some of sample images in the near future. For now, let us start with this review. First of all, this lens provides one heck of a bang for the buck.

Sure, it is definitely not an f/2.8 lens. However, there are many positives that came out of this. This lens is simply a lot lighter, smaller, and cheaper. I have mine attached to my Canon EOS 40D DSLR camera all the time. It makes a fairly compact package that I can easily take to most places and getting close up pictures like a dog running around on a casual evening walk.

When you are buying this lens, I recommend getting the ET-60 lens hood. Canon really should include it with the lens, but for some reason, they do not.

Posing for a Wedding Photo

June 4th, 2011

Many decades ago, wedding portraits looked very dull and the couples looked unhappy in the photos. Photographers asked their subjects to pose and look at the camera directly, it was also said that it is a bad manner to smile while being photographed. These were the thing of the past, today many couples want interesting and unique poses for their wedding. Posing plays a vital role to get a good wedding photo. It is also important that the wedding photographer like your local San Diego wedding photographer know the personality of the couples being photographed. Some couples may not be as open minded and may not be willing to do poses where they are not comfortable.

Weddings could cause tensions and usually emotions run very high, these tensions could show up on your wedding photos. The most important thing to remember to have an awesome wedding photo is to relax and release your tensions.
